RISE harnesses the power of heat to promote relaxation as well as high-level wellness benefits. Indoor and outdoor amenities are available based on location and cultural influences. Energy consumption is controlled through sustainable building practices.
Defying traditional notions of gyms, we promote nature-based cardio such as rock climbing, hiking, and horseback riding as part of the RISE principle of experiential learning. Exercise machines convert human effort into practical, usable energy.
Using covered, open-air spaces wherever possible, and drawing from the natural surroundings, these areas of soft and subtle beauty are ideal for yoga and meditation practice. Ingeniously customizable spaces created using minimal design and only natural building materials allow for individual and group areas.
Casual and comfortable seating defies a traditional auditorium feel, yet this large indoor space is capable of hosting the entire RISE community. The Nest is a place for gathering, for performance, and for community celebration.
The Library proudly displays the RISE community bookshare, as well as an extensive collection of works on health, wellness, art, culture, and sustainability. An ideal area for guests seeking alone time or small intimate gatherings in a beautiful, casual space.
Creative self expression is a key to wellness. Guests using the Artist’s Studio are encouraged to share ideas, inspiration, and art supplies with one another. The space also serves as an informal gallery to display completed works.
Open, communal kitchens invite participants to prepare meals for and with one another, promoting a true ‘breaking bread’ culture of sharing and togetherness.
